Bolivia, Brazil North, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Honduras, Jamaica, Panamá, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad-Tobago, Venezuela, Venezuelan Antilles.

Ecological:

Epiphyte in wet montane forests at elevations of 600 to 2000 m.

Shade to Bright; 1500-2500 Footcandles (indirect light,pronounced shadowing)

Temperature:

Cool,Intermediate to Warm; 40°F min. to 95°F max.(tolerant of extremes,favoring cool)
