Description: 

With a terete, pendant, elongate, leafy towards the apex stem carrying, many, terete, grey-green, blotched purple when young, acute leaves that blooms in the early fall on a very short, successively 2 to 3, many flowered inflorescence with triangular, concave floral bracts. This species has 3 nerves on the petals and has the side lobes attached to the basall 2/3's of the hypochile.

Distribution:

Jawa, Maluku, Sulawesi.

Ecological:

At elevations around 915 meters as a large sized, warm growing, monopodial epiphyte.

Flowering times:

Blooms in the early fall.

Flower size:

1.5 cm.

Cultivation:

Plants are best grown hanged in baskets and on mounted and usually require moderate sunlight and intermediate to warm temperatures. Plants should be grown in media that is well drained such as medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Water plant regularly.
