English Name:

The Closely Related Dendrobium.

Description: 

With clustered, densely leafy stems carrying many, blue green to brownish purple-green, more or less ovate-oblong, close set, glaucous, leathery leaves that blooms in the winter on a short, arising opposite the leaves, 2 flowered inflorescence and carrying flowers with a fetid odor.  

Distribution:

Sulawesi.

Ecological:

On large solitary trees at elevations around 650 to 1300 m as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte. 

Flowering times:

Blooms in the spring.

Flower size:

1.8 cm.
