Endemic of Vietnam.

Notes.

This species differs from the closely related Bulbophyllum guttulatum (Hook, f.) N. P. Balakrishan (distributed in Nepal, Bhutan, NE. India and China) and B. umbellatum Lindl. (reported from Bhutan, NE. India, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam) by its short l-flowered inflorescence, much shorter than leaves, its large stelidia and the mucronate tips of sepals. It is probably a rare local endemic of lowland limestone areas in the center of northern Vietnam.
