Description:
with a creeping rhizome with 8 to 3.5 cm between each ovoid, not flattened, suffused with purple pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, elliptic, obtuse to acute apically, dark green, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on a usually single to few, peduncle 7.8 to 27 cm long, with 3 to 4 bracts, 11.5 to 46 cm long overall, rachis erect to arching, distinctly zig zag bent, 3.8 to 19 cm long, simultaneously 7 to 35 flowered inflorescence with elliptic, acute apically floral bracts and carrying moderately opening, flowers with a white, pale greenish or yellow dorsal sepals and petals, yellow, yellowish green or purple lateral sepals and a yellow to greenish lip.

In primary and open forests at elevations of 1650 to 2650 m as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte.
