native range is Papua New Guinea to Vanuatu.

Description:

growing epiphyte with  2 to 4 cm between each leaf bearing stem carrying strap-shaped to narrowly oblong, minutely bidentate apically leaves that blooms in the late winter on a terminal, globose, successively many flowered head-like inflorescence with 4 to 5 open flowers at any one time

Flower Size:

8 mm.

Distribution:

New Guinea, Solomon Is., Vanuatu.

Ecological:

In lowlands and lower montane forests forests at elevations of sealevel to 1250 m. 

Flowering time:

Blooms in the late winter.

Culture:

Intermediate growing epiphyte, keep in shade.
