Description:
Growing terrestrial with a stem carrying 3 to 4, towards the apex, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, withering during flowering, petiolate base leaves flower on a subdensely 10 to 17 flowered, to 25 cm long, pubescent, sheathed inflorescence
Distribution:
Assam, Bangladesh, China South-Central, East Himalaya, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, West Himalaya and VietNam (Kon Tum, Ninh Hải, Ninh Thuận).
Ecological:
Open forests in limestone areas; ca. 1400 m.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the later winter and early spring.
