Mn areas with a distinct dry season in winter and spring as a large sized, hot growing, monopodial epiphyte on tall trees near large rivers or as a lithophyte scrambling over rocky outcrops with very bright sun at elevations of sea-level to 500 m.

Culture:

Warm growing epiphyte, requires light position.
