Description:
Renanthera monachica is an attractive species and is endemic to the Philippines. In the wild this species grows high in trees, in high rainfall areas at elevations from sea level to 550 metres. Inflorescences measure 40-50cm, bear 10-40 flowers that each measure 4cm.
