The Brotherly Pteroceras (refers to it's possibility of being a natural hybrid between P teres and P compressum).
Description:
The epiphyllum is in a cool, short-stemmed climate completely covered with roots bearing a few straight, fleshy, narrow and hairy lanceolate leaves at the tip, the flowers bloom on a terete, up to 15 cm long, conical, few successive, floral inflorescence with flattened halves, arranged in two rows, very short and broad bracts, from which 1 to some very short flowers open with a time.
Distribution:
Jawa, Sumatera.
Ecological:
In lower montane forests on small branches at elevations around 1100 to 1600 m.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the spring.
Flower size:
1.3 cm.
