Distribution:

China South-Central, China Southeast, Japan, Korea, Nansei-shoto.

Ecological:

In open subtropical forests or cliffs along valleys at elevations of 600 to 1400 m.

Intermediate.

Intermediate.

Water-Humidity:

Year around watering. Humidity 50-70%.

Fertilizer:

Timed-release fertilizer may be applied semi-annually. If liquid fertilizer is used, apply half-strength every other watering during the warmer months.

Potting:

Medium should contain some moisture. Do not allow to dry out because shriveled leaves and lost roots indicate a plant that cannot recover. Pot culture best if you are unable to keep a mounted plant carefully watered. Treat as Phalaenopsis.
