A distinctive "type" shape, with the tips of the sepals much shorter than expected. See, maybe it is somehow segregated from the patula, nowadays another species, but that decided to flourish for the first time in my collection.
Definitely a lover of the cold, it had not been this very cool winter!
Native to the mountains of Ecuador, this epiphyte produces long, hanging stems that can bloom consecutively.
