Native range is Mexico to Central America
A first flowering with two stems, one of which has lost buds after the plant was moved.
It is a small plant of collector to cultivate in the shade, in the warmth. Duration of flowering about fifteen days . The genus Kegeliella includes only 4 species ; besides atropilosa , there are kupperi , houtteana and orientalis . All rare in culture and in nature !
