Description:
Growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 5, in the lower third of the stem, elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, subrounded into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, slightly hispid-glandular, narrow, to 15 cm long, almost dense, many flowered inflorescence.

Madagascar, Mozambique, Vietnam
Ecological:
humid mid elevation forests at elevations of 750 to 1850 m.

Blooms in the spring.

Cultivation:
Plants are usually grown in cool to warm conditions. Keep plants in a shady area. Pot with a well drain medium composed of sand, fir bark, perlite, and soil. Plants should be kept evenly moist.
