Distribution:
Eastern Himalayas, Assam, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, VietNam (Sơn La, Lai Châu, Đà Lạt.) and Malaysia.
Ecological:
In evergreen lowland forests and primary montane forests on primary growth tall trees high up over rivercourses at elevations of 200 to 1050 m.
Note:
Different from Dendrobium thyrsiflorum because this plant is round, longer, flowers more and grows close together.
