Description:
As a small to medium sized, sometimes grown in the ground, the bulbs are slightly flat, the leaves are 7-8 long and soft, and the flower cluster is 50-70 cm long. Cymbidium eburneum var. philbrickianum is white flowers, in the throat with yellow spots, there are only 3-4 flowers, but it is 8-12 cm in size, fragrant. Cymbidium eburneum var. longzhouense, flower tongue has a yellow streak and red spots, flowers 4-5 but smaller.
Distribution:
Found in Assam India, eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, southern China and Vietnam. In VietNam, found in Lào Cai, Sa Pa, Tây Nguyên, Lâm Đồng.
Ecological:
Rocks along valleys and in open forests; at elevations around 800-2000 m.
