Description:
A nice miniature-sized plant with close-set bulbs. This has a large flower-to-plant ratio, and vivid orange umbels, holding about 8 flowers. Unlike most Bulbophyllum, this species does not have a foul odor. Surprisingly, some people say it smells like carrots.
Distribution:
Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia Laos, Vietnam (Lai Châu, Cao Bằng, Quảng Ninh, Tây Nguyên, Lâm Đồng) and Cambodia.
Ecological:
warm to hot growing epiphyte.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the fall and winter.
