Description:
It grows hot to cool in moderate to low and should be grown in a pot or basket (as opposed to mounted). Flowers occur in spring and fall; they have a yellow background covered in dark burgundy spots and arranged in an umbellate fan–really striking. Flowers this color should generally be approached with caution (that color often stinks) but these have a peachy, fruity scent.
Distribution:
In southern Yunnan Province of China, northeastern India, Assam and Myanmar.

Tree trunks in dense forests; 1500-1600 m

Cultivation:
Keep plant in cool to warm temperatures. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering. Keep good air movement to avoid fungal growth. Keep plants in shade. Pot plants in sphagnum moss, fine bark, or mounted.
