Description:
With a creeping rhizome with 4.5 to 17 cm between each, cylindrical, flattened pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, thin, elliptic, medium green, petiolate leaf that blooms in the spring, summer and winter on a basal, 11 to 16 cm long, 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence with ellitic to ovate floral bracts and carrying somewhat fragrant (mossy) flowers.

Ecological:
In lowland forests, high forests and forests on limestone, in moss and dry decaying leaf litter or on decaying logs at elevations of 100 to 400 m as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or terrestrial.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the spring, summer and winter.
Flower size:
2.0 cm.
Cultivation:
Keep plant in warm temperatures. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering. Keep good air movement to avoid fungal growth. Keep plants in shade. Pot plants in sphagnum moss, fine bark, or mounted.
