Description:
With distant, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, acute to acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a patent, short, 9.5 to 11 cm long, 15 to 17 flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate, wide open, mostly simultaneously opening flowers.

Ecological:
At elevations around 100 to 200 m as a miniature sized, hot growing low level epiphyte.

Blooms in the later spring.
Flower size:
2.5 cm.
Cultivation:
Plants usually grow in in intermediate to warm temperatures. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering. Watering usually varies between plants Keep good air movement to avoid fungal growth. Keep plants in shade. Pot plants in sphagnum moss, fine bark, or mounted.
