Description:
With a creeping rhizome giving rise to clustered pseudobulbs carrying an oblong, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf and blooms in the late spring on a basal, single flowered, 7 to 12 cm long inflorescence.
Distribution:
Fiji, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Samoa, Vanuatu.
Ecological:
This hot to warm growing unifoliate epiphyte at elevations of 300 to 900 m.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the late spring.
Flower size:
1.5 cm.
Cultivation:
Intermediate growing epiphyte.
