Description:
With a climbing stem carrying linear, narrow, conduplicate, tridentate apically leaves that blooms in the summer, fall and early winter on a sub-erect, 15 to 50 cm long inflorescence carrying 5 to 12, fragrant grape to lilac scented, long-lived flowers.
Distribution:
Assam, Bangladesh, East Himalaya, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, West Himalaya.
Ecological:
At elevations around 1500 m as a medium to large sized, cool growing epiphyte.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the spring.
