Description:
Small orchid, tubers grow close together, leaves 1 erect. Flower branches 15-20 cm high, flower cluster has 5-10 flowers, flower size 2 cm, blooming in Summer and Autumn. The flower is a bit like Bulbophyllum umbellata but differs in the speckled petals, purple in the leaves and the stem is higher than the leaves.
Distribution:
Assam, East Himalaya, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Tibet, Vietnam (Cúc Phương, Ninh Bình), West Himalaya.
Ecological:
Tree trunks in broad-leaved forests, At elevations of 850 to 2700 m.
