Annandale's Bulbophyllum (Original Collector of species 1900's).

Thailand Name:

Singto Ananda.

Description: 

Orchid, onion shaped like a pear, 1 leaf. The flower cluster is 12 cm high, the flower cluster has 2-5 flowers, the flower is 5 cm long, blooming in the spring.

Distribution: 

Thailand, VietNam (Lào Cai, Đà Lạt.) and Malaysia.

Ecological:

At elevations around 1100 m.

Culture:

Keep plant in cool to intermediate temperatures. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering. Keep good air movement to avoid fungal growth. Keep plants in shade. Pot plants in sphagnum moss, fine bark, or mounted.
