Description:
Ovoid, 5 ridged, smooth, light green suffused purple mostly on ridges of the pseudobulbs and carries a single, apical, erect, to suberect, shortly petiolate, oblong or elliptic to lanceolate, leathery, decurved and acute apically leaf on a wiry, basal, 8 cm long, single flowered inflorescence that holds the flower above the leaves.

Ecological:
Moss covered branches of rough barked trees at elevations of 150 to 3000 m.

Blooms at most any time of the year.
