Description:
Herbaceous plants are erect, with no branching hairs. The leaves are alternate; with inverted or tapered oval blade, 10 - 15cm long, thin leaf edge with teeth, lateral rib 5 - 6 teams; stem 1 - 2cm long. The flower cluster is shorter than the leaves, consisting of 3 - 5 bracts, 1 - 2cm stem. Flowers are 3 - 4cm wide, yellow sepals 4, have two long ones, two short lip-shaped ones, the vessel is 2cm long, the petals are 2.6cm high; stamen 5; gourd on the follicle-shaped, narrow at the base.

from June to October
Distribution:
Found in China South-Central, China Southeast, Vietnam. In Vietnam, trees can be found in Ba Vi, Hanoi, and Linh Chieu, Quang Nam.
Ecological:
Understories of sparse and dense forests, moist places in valleys; 1000-1800 m.
Uses:
Treatment of pimples, swelling and pain, damage (whole tree, crushing the outside). Treatment of blood haematuria, diabetes (the whole tree is dried, excellent for drinking).
