FLORA OF LAOS Hin Nam No Nature Protected Area Orchidaceae Tainia penangiana Hook.f. Laos, Khammoune prov., Boualapha distr., Vang Maner village, Palai mountain area, around point 17°30'13.6"N, 105°49'23.9"E, 520 m a.s.l. Primary dry evergreen and semideciduous broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky slope near karstic hill top composed with solid, marble-like highly eroded limestone at 300-500 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on shady rocky slope with bamboo. Not common. 8 May 2018, L. Averyanov, Khang Sinh Nguyen, T. Maisak, Littideth Xaiyavongsa, Siphanom Keovankham, AL 788. Fl. 15 Feb. 2019, sepals & petals light yellowish-brown, lip white with fine purple marks. Photos. L. Averyanov.
