Description:

Phylloxidium orchids, leafless, 15 - 20cm tall, pink with scales, large flowers, 2 to 8 flowers, branching 1.5-2cm long, each branch has a thin, white flower, often blooming on middle of the rainy season. The wings are straight, pointed and the wing is smaller. The lips are smaller than the petals, round, thick, white, arranged vertically thick, with short, cylindrical stamens.

Flowering: Flowers bloom in the spring and summer.

Distribution:

Found in Afghanistan, Taiwan, Assam, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Borneo, Java, Malaysia, Philippines, Sumatra, Northwest Territory and Queensland Australia, Niue and Vanuatu. In Vietnam: Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Bu Gia Map National Park.

Ecological: Saprophytic plants under the bamboo canopy at elevations of sea level to 700 m.
