Description:
Small orchid, pear shaped, 1 leaf. Flowers grow from old and new bulbs, small flower stalks 7 cm long. Inflorescence with 3-4 flowers, flower size 9 cm blooming in Spring and Summer, a strong odor.
Flowering: Flowers blooming in Spring-Summer
Distribution: Found in China, India, Laos and VietNam. In Vietnam: Dien Bien (Tua Chua district), Ha Giang (Quan Ba district), Hoa Binh (Mai Chau district) and Quang Binh (Minh Hoa district).
Ecological: Clustering miniature epiphyte. Primary evergreen broad-leaved and coniferous humid forests on any kind of soils, but preferably on limestone, commonly on mossy trees near mountain tops. 500–1600 m.
