Description: Small trees 3m tall, hairless. Leaves have a long, blade-shaped, oval-shaped tip, obtuse base, pointed tip, 4 - 5cm long, 1.8 - 2.2cm wide, leaf edges folded down; lateral veins 4 - 5 pairs; petioles very short.Flowers are single, in leaf axils; male flowers are usually arranged in pairs under the leaf axils below, while female flowers grow solitary in the axils of the leaves at the tip. The male flower has a stem of 6 mm, cone shaped, black and black, with 3 vertical walls equivalent to 3 inner stations; stamens 3. Female flowers with 4 - 10 mm stems, 4mm height, when expanded to 10mm; ovary ovary, 3 stigmas split into 2 branches bent downwards.
Distribution: In VietNam, It is found in Hòa Bình, Quảng Trị (Răng Cọp mountain), Đà Nẵng (Bà Nà), Quảng Nam.
Ecological: The tree grows naturally along the forest edge, or shrub hill, at an altitude of 100-500 m
Flower season: Flowering in July.
Uses: Leaves are used to bandage wounds
