Description:

in evergreen lowland forests and primary montane forests at elevations of 200 to 1600 meters
Distribution:
Found in the eastern Himalayas, Assam, Bhutan, Sikkim, Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, southern China, Vietnam, the Malaysia penninsula, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Lesser Sunda Islands, Sulawesi and the Philippines. In Việt Nam: Hòa Binh, Ninh Bình, Tây Nguyên, Đồng Nai, Nam Cát Tiên.
