Description: Plants lithophytic or terrestrial. Cymbidium or Heather, 5-6 leaves, leaves 23-45 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm wide. Inflorescences 20-30 cm long, flowers 1 pcs, flower size 10-16 cm, blooming in the Spring
Distribution: Found in northern Thailand, Laos and Vietnam as well as southwestern China. In Viet Nam: Trùng Khánh, Cao Bằng, Cúc Phương, Ninh Bình, Mai Châu, Hòa Bình, Na Hằng, Tuyên Quang, Ba Thuộc, Thanh Hóa.
Ecological: Crevices on shaded cliffs or rocky and well-drained places in forests or thickets in limestone areas; 700-1500 m.
