Description: Ancillary tree, very small, about 3-4 cm high, round, flat, dark purple and wrinkly, leaves 2 pcs. Flowers bloom when the leaves have fallen off, the stems are 3-3.5 cm long, solitary flowers up to 1.5 cm long, the lips splitting the lobes wide into two wings, light purple, curved inwards and different from Drymoda picta and purple stripes. The flowers are not fragrant and last for about 10 days.
Distribution: This species is distributed in Thailand and Laos and grows at an altitude of 600-900m above sea level. In Vietnam, the trees are distributed in Krong Ana, Dak Lak, Bu Gia Map, Loc Ninh. This species was discovered by Khuong Huu Thang in Bu Gia Map National Park.
