Description: Ancillary live plants, rhizome to 5mm; pseudobulbs shaped 2-4 in 5 cm long, 1.5cm thick, carrying 2 leaves. Leaves have a narrow blade, 5-8 (-16) cm long, 1-2.5cm wide, thin, slightly dark color. Inflorescences 10cm long, bearing 1-5 2-3cm long flowers, white or pale yellow; narrow petals; lips have 3 lobes, hairy edges, middle with 3 appendages; Stigmata up to 1cm high.
Distribution: Found in Nepal, Bhutan, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Xizang and Yunnan provinces of China, Hong Kong, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, penninsular Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. In Viet Nam: Found in Tam Ðảo (Vĩnh Phú). Cúc Phương (Ninh Bình), Bảo Lộc và Ðà Lạt (Lâm Ðồng).
Ecological: On tree trunks or rocks along streamsides, in forests, or at forest margins; 500-2300 m
