Latin Name: Bulbophyllum violaceolabellum Seidenf. 1981

Family: Orchidaceae

Description: Small orchids, tubers grow 4-9 cm apart, 1 leaf. Inflorescences 19-26 cm high, 3-6 flowers 1.5 cm long, blooming in the spring.

Distribution: Found in Yunnan China, Laos and VietNam.

Ecological: Trees or rocks in open forests in limestone areas; ca. 700 m.

Culture:

Keep plant in intermediate to warm temperatures. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering. Keep good air movement to avoid fungal growth. Keep plants in shade. Pot plants in sphagnum moss, fine bark, or mounted.
