Synonym Name: Bulbophyllum lemniscatoides var. lemniscatoides; Hordeanthos lemniscatoides (Rolfe) Szlach.

Description: a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a branching rhizome giving rise to close set, smooth, sheathed [when new], ovoid, slightly flattened, shriveled with longitudinal furrows in growth, few to several angled pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, suberect, softly leathery, linear-lanceoalte to elongate-oblong, obtuse, petiolate to sessile, deciduous leaves falling off as it blooms in the fall on an erect, 25 cm long, rachis abruptly pendent 3 to 5 cm long, many flowered inflorescence arising on a leafless, mature pseudobulb with the flowers held way above the leaf in a dense, cylindric, pendulous cluster at the apex carrying fragrant flowers subtended by small, narrow, papery bracts.
Ecological: in semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands on tree trunks at elevations of 300 to 1670 m.
Distribution: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. In Việt Nam: Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Lâm Đồng, Đà Lạt.
